*goes to look up HB sausage casserole 🤭
well it’s Friday again, one of 2 plans, either DH finishes early and we take Frank for a long walk and stop for early dinner at a pub, or HM burgers at home
if any of you Island visitors haven’t been try Quarr Abbey, nice cafe, fabulous walk 🥰 good ales too 🫶Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Last night was an Aldi moussaka - very nice. I had a bit of LO mozzarella which I added to my portion. OH had a mixed salad on the side but I served mine directly on top of rocket which was lovely.
Tonight is salmon - reduced at Watrose yesterday and I was assured it was good for today but should be frozen otherwise. Will have rice with it and we have a large yellow courgette. But there's farm shops advertising asparagus so I might see how that looks if I have time to stop on my way home from work. (oh dear!! look at the time!!!!)

We have sausages tonight!
I got some reduced £1 in M&S, will serve with mash, veg and gravy
:money::rotfl::T5 -
I remembered I bought some RTC haddock and sauce fillets the other day which deff need using up - also there's a couple of sausages that should be cooked too. Not quite sure how I'm going to combine those two into a meal so answers on a postcard too.
Must admit the costly lasagne LO I had last night was nice, but I do prefer my own, or a ping ping shop one - simply because of the lack of white sauce on last night's, which is my fav part.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

@Islandmaid it's our trip to the island next week and definitely will visit the abbey. Thankyou for recommending.
I had pizza tonight with an extra topping of mushrooms.
Husband had fish chips and peas.
Daughter had some filled pasta from the freezer and finished off my pizza which was going to be my lunch tomorrow.
Will sort out some food to take with us, next week. We are self catering but I tend to make a few quick meals and take used tin foil dishes, that I have washed and saved to use.5 -
Defrosting turkey mince I got reduced in Lidl. I’m gonna make a chilli with it. I’ve got the hairdressers this afternoon so by the time we get back it will be 6pm so I’ll make the chilli shortly then I just gotta reheat and do the rice later. I got loads of veg to add into it so hopefully I’ll get enough to make 2 dinners, freeze the leftovers:money::rotfl::T5
