Chorizo pasta for dinner 🥘, sure we have a garlic baguette in the freezer too 😀3

Looking forward to the left overs from yesterday - more cassoulet, more Maroilles cheese for afters. I have a nice cider to have with mine. No more strawberries left - someone was selling local ones, 3 large punnets for £5 at the market last Thursday.
And we've been very good as we haven't had any chocolate eggs or bunnies at all. We are however making our way through a batch of home made banana oatmeal muffins - which turned out well despite me having to stop mid flow as I'd forgotten to soak the oatmeal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I visited a friend earlier to pick up some wood to attempt to make a pergola, I also came away with 4 potatoes, 3 carrots, half a swede and an onion. I've added some frozen peas and a tin of chickpeas and made a veg curry, which should do 3-4 portionsI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. You inspired me @Islandmaid, lamb was cooked here yesterday and whilst husband was out walking the dog I used the leftovers to make him a posh sandwich for lunch. Mixing some mayo with a spicy sauce to add to the flavour.
We had some sourdough bread I had bought for 40p, so that was toasted.
I had halloumi and avocado in mine.
We are just having salad for dinner, i have some leftover baby potatoes from yesterday, so will make Delia's lemony potatoes to go alongside.5 -
Fakeaway sweet & sour chicken with chow mein noodles tonight.
Aldi popcorn chicken + YS veg (mange tout, baby sweetcorn & pepper) and mayflower sweet & sour sauce
Broken noodles from the refill shop & fried onions with sesame oil & light/dark/sweet soy sauce mix.
Cost was about £5 for 3 portions so much cheaper than a takeaway.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Picked some wild garlic earlier today and added it to the spinach in a spanakopita with some mushrooms and some feta. Plenty left for tomorrow too.5
