Last week, as a result of reading on here about the great value packs of cooking bacon in Home Bargains (thank you to whoever it was who posted, sorry I have forgotten who!) I bought a pack and will today be making a cheese and bacon flan thing to have with salad. It really is a good sized pack of bacon, excellent value for money.
I'm WFH so am currently using my lunch break to whip up a batch of pastry for the flan.9 -
Salad night. Iceberg lettuce, possibly some shallot, I don't know if more tomatoes were bought - the one I had yesterday was a bit tasteless. There's a variety of meat and cheese to top it. Might have a cuppa borscht with it. Discovered I had an unopened pack from the Polish shop. Out of date but that's of no consequence.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
