Yesterday we had lasagne, found a bag of ratatouille in the freezer so the sauce was mince /quorn mince with the ratatouille. Made three portions of vege and four meat versions, so four went back into the freezer.

Tonight we had fish and chips from the takeaway, haven't had them for ages so it made a nice change. The dog enjoyed half of my fish, I can never eat much and I always get a mini fish. Didn't have afters, was too full.
  • Another salad for lunch today with tuna this time and for supper tonight I'll make a wartime Cheese and Rice Batter which we'll have with steamed carrots, cabbage and cauliflower. Rhubarb compote and yoghurt for pud and a cup of black coffee as normal.

Yum, what time shall I be round? :D

Last night I ended up having chicken super noodles (well the :money: lidl version) and threw in some peas and chicken so it didn't seem quite such student fayre. Not sure what tonight will be, I had grand plans to err, plan and now lost my planning mojo.

Was out all day yesterday, breakfasting, shopping, lunching, drinking so I had nothing for dinner, OH picked up a takeaway.

Had planned a salad for dinner tonight but have decided it's too cold, so will have a ham salad sandwich for lunch then a lovely bought :osteak & ale pie with home made mash and cabbage for dinner.

We have a new-to-us canine guest coming for an overnight stay later today, so I made a veggie Shepherd Spy yesterday, which we shall have the 2nd half of tonight - a "ding dinner" without it being a dreaded SM ready meal, if you will. :D

    Family round tonight.

So I'm making a prawn Goan curry, cheating with a spice tailor kit on special offer. Paneer tikka kebabs, we have lots of yoghurt to use up. A rice dish, and some small potatoes and onions baked in the oven in a paste made with, cumin seeds, turmeric, mustard seeds and ginger, garlic and oil.

Poppadoms and raita, and a salad made with red onion and tomatoes.
