Chicken got roasted and I had that with some roast spuds (LO boiled ones) and petit pois. Oh and a bit of stuffing from some YS I bought at xmas. And gravy. Small pot of profiteroles for pud (not good for the diet but DM bought them for me and I couldn't waste them and bin them)
OH got fed at work so had some roast spuds too, with beans and beetroot.
Was feeling very virtuous but (almost) sticking to my list in Lid! today and buying items specifically to make up meals from things I had in. Then they overcharged me on 3 x Limes (89p - should've be 3 for 60p) and a tin of spiced taco beans for 65p turns out to be more expensive than the 40p mixed beans I buy from Sainsburys for use in chilli. There was no SEL, and I stupidly assumed they would be cheaper than a 'Big 4' equivalent, esp as they are Lidl Simply range. That will teach me :mad:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Tuesday is always a long day so usually something quick n easy: basil pesto Kiev's with home made mashed potato and beans.
Usually buy Tesco (tried Aldi but didn't like them) but found some Bird's Eye frozen ones in a little local freezer shop £1.00 for 2 and they were really nice.
Tonight is salad with cold roast pork and baby new potatoes.0 -

He Who Knows is probably going off to annoy the fish in the local lake this fine day so he will take a packed lunch and I will have some porridge with berries and for supper tonight we will have some pasta with garlic mushrooms (have some to use up) and a cutting of asparagus from the garden, rhubarb compote and greek yoghurt after that if we want it and our usual cup of black coffee.0
