Dinner last night was a Chinese takeaway after we'd been out watching the football and I couldn't be bothered (nor was in any state) to cook.
Not sure what today will be, think OH will pick, I still have some Chinese left but am hankering over it already.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Rump steak strips in a mushroom, mustard and creme fraiche sauce with rice and savoy cabbage0

We've had a roast chicken dinner with loads of roast potatoes & veg with cabbage & gravy. The plates were absolutely heaving - no idea how I managed to eat it all!

Lunch today will be a spinach and ricotta tortilla pizza with some salad. Tonight we're having slow roasted shoulder of lamb, roast potatoes, carrots, broccoli, green beans, mint sauce and gravy, maybe some yorkshires as well. Strawberry trifle for pudding.0

Lunch is cooking - veggie burgers (made with TVP), sweet potato chips & beans.
Dinner tonight will be chicken stirfry, using up some of the LO roast chicken from yesterday.
Curry sauce made for tomorrow night's chicken curry, using most of the rest of the meat. There will still be some left for sandwiches.

Have a cod fishcake with parsley sauce middle in the oven which I'll have with some LO potato from last week, a bit of mashed swede from the freezer and some kale (also freezer stock) - would really prefer peas but we're out of them, so that's that one.
OH is having pasta because that's what he wants.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Lunch today was another picnic at the Zoological Park with two impkins and sadly a very under supervised school trip just past infant stage who sat and sang about 'Poo' and anything that rhymed with it for the entire raucous time they were surrounding us at the tables completely ignored by their staff accompaniment who just sat and talked to each other and had lunch!
Supper this evening will be chicken, pasta, carrots and sweetcorn for the boys and a rare steak with mushrooms and home grown asparagus for us somewhat later on.0 -

Well I suppose the rhyming part might be considered 'educational' :eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
