Thai green curry tonight with rice. B*ggered up my plan for fajitas as the curry was looking a bit anaemic with just quorn bits in it so I added a chopped green pepper - which was earmarked for fajitas. :o Also threw in a few mushrooms which I've picked out of OH serving since he doesn't really like them.

Lunch was a toasted bagel with grated cheese, tomato and salad cream - so much for the diet!

Seem to have been busy doing nothing today so relaxing on sofa catching up with some recorded cooking programmes & waiting for OH to get home.
Will have fish of some sort and either new potatoes or wedges depending on what I get out of the freezer.

Lunch today will be a salad to use up what needs using in the salad drawer of the fridge with ham for him and chicken for me and supper and supper tonight will be something 'wartime' from one of my WW2 recipe book collection possibly a veg based pie using potato pastry as a base with lots of fresh veg as we're going to the Farm Shop this morning. Hungry gap veg isn't as good as seasonal but I'm craving greens!

  • Other half of h/m beef wellington, was quite nice, with salad. Tonight prawn, cougette and half pack of dried noodles. Have bought some of those small packs of noodles you just pour boiling water onto but whole pack is too much. Started to use a diet/calorie app yesterday so keeping a close eye.
  • Cheese and pickle sandwiches for lunch today - tonight's dinner will be hm steak in ale (from the freezer) with a puff pastry lid, chips and mushy peas. Fruit salad, greek yogurt, honey, toasted nuts and seeds for pud.
