Happy Birthday @mumf
Tonight I'm having salmon from the freezer which I'll air fry, with some broccoli and some sliced potatoes I unearthed from the freezer too (may have gone in there approx the same time the Titanic went down but they'll do).
Think OH will have chips and somethingFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I made a vegan spag bol. Daughter and I ate that although mine was topped with cheese. I made husband some seafood/tomato/chorizo crumb to go with his spaghetti.5

Happy Birthday @mumf
DD had a friend round who is a very unadventurous eater so we had sausage, mash, green beans and gravy. Apparently green beans were a step too far for this friend and I am now feeling ever so grateful that my kids have always loved all veg!5 -

Not sure tonight - I think I might have chilli and rice (although just realised the qty of cheese to top it with is questionable - can you have parmesan on chilli? I that considered Fusion?)
OH isn't feeling great again, I suspect some beige comfort food may be requested.
Managed to get some bargains in Morries last night (stopped by for petrol). 50p for a big tub of their Mediterranean vegetables from the deli counter - will be perfect in lasagne and various things, and a large ready to roast chicken for 64p - the lady was literally moving a trolley of meats to the front of the store for final reduction and she passed by some of us, then kindly labelled them up and handed them out. It was all nice and orderly, one each, no jostling - just the way it should be (I've seen a shouting match over a creme horn in that store before). I'd normally prefer a Free Range chicken but this was so much of a bargain I couldn't resist - plus if I didn't buy it someone would, or it would have gone to food waste.
Also got some hot cross buns for 22p and some salt and pepper baps for 30p (these were intended for the freezer - OH has other ideas and has cracked into them already).

@kerri_gt
at 64p I'm sure there'd be a queue of people to buy a whole chicken!!! Local Tasco had to fence off half an aisle near the reduction bit recently as there were too many people trying to squeeze into too small an area while the reductions were being done.
OH got a number of chinese items from Sains yesterday so that's tonight sorted. I'm assuming the last pack of prawn spring rolls in the freezer will also be tidied up.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Tonight I'll be on meatballs and spaghetti. I'll be making my own pork meatballs, and using some spanish seasonings. Nice cheap meal, and we love it!4
