Thinking fish, chips of some kind and beans tonight. Nice and easy. There's two random diff bits of breaded fish in the freezer so we can use those up.

The guinea fowl has been lobbed into the freezer as OH isn't well enough to deal with it so either more soup and sandwiches (truthfully it's only been OH having the soup....) or schnitzel.

Husband is having leftover casserole from the freezer, I will have salmon and daughter will have vegan sausages and onions all with mash and vegetables. Easy dinner today.

Quick meal tonight, grilled some breaded soya nuggets and spicy potato wedges, served with cauliflower, green beans and chopped tomatoes. Made a coffee cake this afternoon, vanilla buttercream in the middle and dark chocolate ganache with walnut halves on top, we had a slice later in the evening.

    Good morning all

I’ve taken out one of the pork joints for dinner tonight. It was actually one big one that I cut into two pieces, even then we should have some leftovers. I’ll do it with spuds, broccoli, carrots, peas and gravy. Apple sauce for me too.

Doing my online shop for Wednesday and at least 3 things have gone up in price since last week, 2 by 5% but my daughters juice cartons for school have gone up 20% in one week! Shocking

Would it be better to get some plastic drink pots and stop buying the cartons???  Bit of a faff washing of course and there is the initial expense - the sistema ones are quite good for not leaking.

OH has asked for soup yet again so I'm getting out one of the leftover pots from the freezer to see whether it's edible.  He likes the tinned soup so if he doesn't fancy what I'm having that's fine.
