Fish for us tonight - I have a couple of nice chunky skinless cod fillets currently marinating in a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, ginger, Dijon mustard, chilli, lemon juice and sesame oil. This will be drained, dusted with potato flour (I'm using some of that Idaho dried potato powder), and air-fried. I'll just do a little side salad to go with it.5

I have been on holiday and it was bliss not cooking, lovely food and sun.
Back to work today and dinner was things that needed using up, so mashed potatoes, bacon and sausages, savoy cabbage and I had quorn nuggets.4 -

Tesco delivered today, nearly £200 so it was a very big shop. I’ve basically got most of the things that we need for Christmas that will last. The fresh items I’ve got for the 23rd. I also took advantage of the meat joints being half price. I got beef, pork, leg of lamb and gammon. The beef and pork I split into 2 smaller joints. The lamb as it is. They all went in the freezer. The gammon is for my Christmas ham, that is ok till 2nd Jan so I’ve put that in the fridge.Tonight we had pork chops, roast potatoes, carrots, peas and gravy. Plus apple sauce on the side. I got a big pack of pork chops, also on offer. Split and froze 4 and we had 4 chops this evening. This will help out in January, 2 joints of beef, 2 joints of pork and a leg of lamb to enjoy. The leg of lamb will easily do us 3 meals.:money::rotfl::T5
