Veggie chilli last night and tonight.

I also warmed some rice pudding and tinned peaches for my pud. Topped with a little festive sprinkle of cinnamon.

  • Stew from the freezer, chicken for me and beef for Mr VH, both with dumplings and mashed potato. Might have a mug cake for pudding to stay warm, Mr VH has some mince pies so I might suggest he puts one or two in the microwave before eating them tonight (foil tray removed of course).

Got a couple of lovely rib pork chops from the meat guy yesterday.  So will pan fry those with onions & mushrooms, finish with cider and cream and serve on rice.  Shame I bought too much cider....

    Evening all late reply

out most of the day at an appointment

came back just before six, stuck in some fish fingers and chips then added some peas on the side. My daughter ate most of it. More stuff emptied from the freezer :)
