    Fully loaded burgers with corn on the cob tonight, the family arrive for Christmas on Monday so it’s all systems go to get their rooms ready, food will be basic for a few days - be lovely to have them all home though 🥰
    That does not sound basic. I might come and move in too, any room at the inn?  :D

    tonight him in the kitchen has prepped oxtail.  It was cooked yesterday for dinner tonight so is a bit like leftovers but isn't.  A nice white cob to go with it as the store bought frozen dumplings we both like don't seem to be available.  Something to do with needing the freezers for some sort of seasonal tat.

    saw a fab idea for LO oxtail - pulled pork style with spring onions seasoned with ginger and 5 spice etc wrapped in spring roll wrappers dipped in sweet chilli sauce 😍 filthy 😍

    A boozy and riotous office Christmas party for me yesterday lunchtime, so poor Mister CJ had to fend for himself for dinner last night. He went out for some fish and chips, I believe.

    Tonight I’m making pan fried miso-spiced salmon fillet with some steamed veg, at least I will if this thumping headache subsides! 😂😂

    An actual day to myself today, cleaned out the fridge, going to reorganise the freezer too ready for Christmas being delivered on Monday.

    thinking roasted med veg spaghetti tonight, the veg is in the freezer stash.  I’ll have cod in butter sauce 
    Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    A couple of aspirins (dissolvable is best) and a can of the full fat coke should do the trick.  Don't ask me how I know.
