That sounds like a jolly good idea and I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate your stall.

I heated up some jalapeno bites from the depths of the freezer and ate them with cous cous, ginger and tomato relish, edamame and broad beans and petits pois followed by a coffee.

  • Did an easy hob meal tonight and warmed through a cooked Frikadellen burger - FF in MW. Quick noodles and last of the chestnut mushrooms with yet more tomatoes - I still have lots in the fridge.

    My husband's favourite cake @Florenceem.
I read today the cost of baking a Victoria sponge is now at an all time high at £13.50. But it is the daily mail so has to be read with a pinch of salt.

Spoiler alert, the cake pictured doesn't look as good as Florenceem's

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11230541/amp/Cost-baking-Victoria-sponge-cake-rises-20-one-year.html

Tonight I had omelette, husband had seabass with baby potatoes and loads of green veg, steamed on top of the potatoes. I am really loving chives at the moment and they are finding their way into cheese scones, egg mayo, potato salad and tonight I made a chive, lemon and butter sauce to have with the veg and fish. It was very tasty.

I love a Victoria sponge too - yours looks scrumptious, @Florenceem!

I’m on hols this week, not going away anywhere but just using up some days before the end of the annual leave year as we can’t carry them over as easily as we used to. We’ve been treating ourselves to lunches out and consequently the evening meal plan is in disarray as we’re not hungry! Tonight is supposed to be spaghetti bolognese but we have a trip to a garden centre this morning and we may end up in their cafe for lunch …..

Maybe you should let those on the charity shopping board know the time and location???

I'm sure I've also seen some "how to keep warm" posts on MSE which might like to know.
