Yesterday I used some bacon out of a 75p cooking bacon pack and fried off some cooked small potatoes and an egg for dinner.
Froze the rest of the bacon pack when freezer was opened to get out yogurt pizza dough for tonight's meal.

interesting comment about putting things in the freezer as it was open. The OH has been known to open the fridge and then wander about the kitchen putting the coffee on etc. Not only a waste of energy but a reason why the milk goes off so quickly. There's been so many comments about using one's oven efficiently but this is the first mention I've seen of being efficient with one's fridge/freezer.Florenceem said:
