Autumn has struck - Good old Cottage Pie here tonight. Extra portions put away for GS nursery dinners.

I’m making Keto scotch eggs, crushed pork scratchings for the crumb, minced pork instead of sausage meat 👍

Tonight will be taco Tuesday 🌮🌮🌮🌮. I'm going to make a smoky veggie mince with crumbled tofu and walnut, homemade slaw, guacamole and then soft 'tacos' (mini wraps toasted in the toaster!)

    Then yoghurt and tinned peaches.

OH is doing my requested prawns and pasta and so I was directed to pick up some single cream that will be mixed in.  I expect there will be some finely chopped onion included too.

I'm getting ready to stock the freezer with some mushrooms.  Tesco had some BBF today in a 1 kg pack for 67p.  Thinking now I should have got more than one as the freezer is substantially empty since it was defrosted.  Then again I also have a huge pot of apple sauce made late yesterday that needs to be sieved and packaged up for freezing as well.

I polished off the last of the chilli paneer kebabs with rice, petits pois and sweetcorn as I realised that the leftover cabbage from yesterday would keep until tomorrow but the paneer really needed eating.

  • Cheese toasties and beans for DH and smallchild before they went out, then egg, chips and beans for me and bigchild. Tomorrow is going to be a bit trickier, I need to use up a lot of fridge odds and ends!

Lidl sour dough pizza tonight with extra cheese.  May also add some mushrooms too.

I did a bits dinner yesterday. Used up last third of a 75p cooking bacon pack -  put in a toasted buttered roll + fried off a cooked jacket potato + tomatoes + egg.
Dinner looks yummy.  And I like your plates.
