I've been told to sort dinner.....we have salmon in the freezer as well as schnitzel. Or I can go out and get some chicken (cue OH rolling his eyes) or pizza (cue again....).
Why is it that whatever I think to cook he rolls his eyes? And then usually about 2/3 the way through eating mumbles something about things being really nice, he didn't realise this is what I meant when I said....!!! But the next time I suggest it again I know I'll get the eye roll!!

Decided - salmon is thawing so it will go on the bbq, there's some potatoes to go with - either croquette or diced and hollandaise. Fresh from the garden parsley and chives to be scattered on top. Small salad on the side. His will have cucumber (ewww!)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I've been carefully using thr sliced bread crusts to make a supply of breadcrumbs which i freeze. Tonight I made chicken goujons with some reduced chicken breasts. I dipped in egg and breadcrumbs then baked along with homemade wedges, accompanied by minty pea purée made with frozen garden peas, some homemade veg stock, garlic and a bunch of mint.''Twas delicious3

And to make thr most of the oven I baked a thick onion quiche topped with crispy fried breadcrumbs - my new favourite thing3
