Phew, glad that's over, but it helped the toms and courgettes I'm trying to grow.
Tonight we had veg sausages, pease pudding, broccoli, carrots, sweetcorn and a courgette from the garden cut into batons and cooked in a little water with strips of sun-dried tomatoes, salt and pepper. Coffee and two bourbon biscuits after.

The oven went on tonight, husband requested chicken and chorizo tray bake, so two portions made. I had leftover potato salad, half a pizza (taken out of freezer to fit ice lollies in) tenderstem broccoli and a tomato.

Mushroom and asparagus risotto from the freezer stash with some broccoli.

Last night was chicken and mushroom risotto that my bestie made.

Yesterday was a cheese and tomato roll followed by a leftover sorbet from my afternoon walking group.
Tonight we made Mediterranean Top and Bottom Pizza Pie at evening class so I'm feasting on a huge slice of mine after carrying it home on a tray. A passer by stopped me to ask what I was carrying and when I uncovered my masterpiece she asked for the recipe!
I can't find the recipe online anywhere and there are no pages or site for the class that I can find either so I'll try to remember to ask the tutor about that next week so I can put a link on here for anyone who's interested.
Meanwhile, here are my finished pie on the right and another class member's on the left before we wrapped them up to take home.

@goldfinches that looks stunning 🤩 I’d definitely be interested, my family would be very grateful for the recipe 😉

I’m making baguettes today to go with a cheeseboard for tonight - I’ll stick with the cheese and charcuterie and some delicious fermented red cabbage I am currently addicted to 😊

Glad the class was enjoyable and productive @goldfinches

Last night's dinner ended up being a bit of a tidy-up.  There was a bake at home ciabatta that OH had with cheese and I had a jacket potato out of the freezer that I did up with the last of the cream cheese as well as some grated and finished up a bit of sliced ham on the side.

Carbonara is planned for tonight.  But as they say....the best laid plans......
