    Out with friends tonight, about a dozen of us meet every month-6 weeks for a curry and a catch-up, always good fun 🤪

    I picked up to cheap padron peppers so just put together some tapas. Used a dish of meatballs from the freezer as well as breads, aioli, chicken wings, salad and a Spanish omelette made with tinned potatoes.

    A picky bits from the fridge night so cous cous, garlic mushrooms, grana padano, pizza pie filling, carrots, asparagus and tenderstem followed by a treat cocktail and a handful of nuts.

    Had a lovely evening, hubby is a bit fragile this morning 🤣

    going to make more bread to use up the remaining cheeses and charcuterie, like @JIL we have padron peppers too, one of my favourite tapas

    I love padron peppers @Islandmaid, I now just toss mine in oil and salt and 4 mins in the airfryer. 
    I'm going traditional today, sunday roast with a gammon joint.

    Oooh never thought of doing them in the air fryer - great idea - like you say a splash of olive oil and good salt - perfect 🤩

    OH did carbonara last night - very nice.  Tonight will be steak, chips, salad. 

    And I've actually picked a tomato from the garden!!  Granted it's less than an inch across but I think I've got my £5 worth!!!

    We didnt have roast, I cleared out the fridge and cooked a load of vegetables which we had with salmon and new potatoes. 
  • Toad in the hole. Not really the weather for it as it's very warm here, but it's one of those meals that I must have once a month as it's a favourite.
