I keep waiting for my dinner invite!!!

It was all decided that we were going to have tuna steaks and cous cous but I've just been issued orders to pick up a leg of lamb that I need to make into souvlaki to be served with pita, a feta/greek salad and taramasalata.

I'll be getting both and we'll be eating outside either way.
I think a dinner deal could be struck here 🤣🤣 adore souvlaki sans pita for me, obs…

But first you need to tell me what you did with those peppers in the second photo.  Grilled, chilled and oiled?

@Brie Just good olive oil and good salt, we used Malden smoked. either pan fried or as we did yesterday, in a falcon tray on the BBQ, let them blister. We did a mix of padron and sweet peppers from Lidl 👍 you won’t regret it, perfect tapas.

I've been meaning to buy some padrons because they look so nice but wasn't sure what I'd do with them.  Now I know!!!

I still have tomatoes and mushrooms in the fridge to use up.
As I am by the coast - we have a lovely breeze so not too hot here which is good for when I have oven on later to cook dinner and bake.

I am right on the tip of the UK - Ramsgate.
I was supposed to have been there for a function at the end of May but had to miss it due to surgery recovery...if it's on next year I'll pop round for a vino 😁

Bbq here today, just meat free burgers with fried onions and bits but OH enjoyed it.

No vino here - sorry - I am being enrolled as a Soldier in the Salvation Army next Sunday - so no alcohol allowed. Cup of tea okay.
