Islandmaid - the baking is for my Salvation Army Corps. I take cakes along for after the service on Sunday and then for activities on Tuesday. Of course I do a little taste test with Mr F before the congregation eat the cakes.
It would be rude not to taste test 🤣🤣

Rallied the whole family to help a mate out, she runs 12.5 acres by herself and has a very bad back that requires an operation, the land is getting away from her, so we spent much of the day weeding and sorting in exchange for a bit of brekki - dinner was a rinse and repeat of last night - ohh how we suffer 🤪

last night ended up being prawn sandwiches made quite late when we returned home from a Steeleye Span concert.

tonight is leg of lamb slow roasted over onions, garlic and beans.  I was sent out to the garden to pick rosemary and thyme - good thing I've put more plants in, might look to get some more to bulk out the supply!
