A really easy, but actually quite filling one tonight. L*dls tortellini pasta, the one you get in the dry pasta/rice section. So cheap too. Just melted some cheese on it.

We were Out out out yesterday - chicken strips and cheesy chips consumed mid afternoon in the pub. Slightly amazed I don't feel like utter death today

its hissing down here, so making a roast, pork with the usual accompaniments, hoping it’ll be the last roast for a while if this long predicted heat wave arrives 🙏🤞

Offloaded the potato-and-rice-hating child on a school trip until Friday, so this week we shall be eating mostly those things!

Tonight is salmon with mini roast potatoes, and veg with garlic butter sauce.

Mash, sausages (A*da pork and 3 chilli, delicious), mushy peas. Tomorrow will be similar, with trout instead of sausages. I've made enough mash and will use the other half of the peas.

We had a meal - chicken pie - at our SA before this week's Alpha.

Pasta in sauce packet thing...cherse, leek and ham. Added some extra peas to it and topped with parmesan. Not terribly healthy or wholesome but could've been worse.

Spicy Lamb Sausage, tomato and pepper stew with smoked paprika and cous cous for those that want
