I used bits from the fridge for dinner on Friday and then lo fish & chips last night. Today we have eaten at the SA after the service as there was a talk in the afternoon.

We'll be finishing off the coq au vin made yesterday.  Last night it was with chips, tonight with bake at home brown sour dough baguettes.

Shame we're out of raspberry ripple ice cream.  I really enjoyed it!

@C_J more of a cascade than a leak but thankfully I caught it before it did any damage as such and I had all the decorating towels to hand. Mostly sorted although it wasn't what i thought it was and the part I did think it was still has a minor drip so need to get the plumber back for that.

Was out earlyish doors doing a car boot today (OH dealt with the plumber). Cleared some stuff but garage still seems stuffed.
Dinner tonight was some more sausage casserole, with some sliced potatoes I found in the freezer.

@kerri_gt - glad to hear you're not awash and hope you made oodles at the car boot.

I had the last bit of yesterday's cabbage with some basmati rice sprinkled with crispy onions followed by dates and coffee.

Hot dogs (veggie sausages for me, YS pork sausages for OH) in brioche buns with fried onions and curly fries. OH had beans too. Followed by chocolate cake slices (YS).

Breakfast was dulce de leche pastries (YS). For lunch I had cheese and chive potato skins (YS) with garlic mayo.

Airfryer chips with steak and peppercorn sauce. I've had the unopened tub in cupboard for a while, looking forward to using some.
Purchased some battered onions rings to go with. Oooh, it's like a pub fake away meal :p
Mushrooms, tomato and onions made an appearance too

After coq au vin two nights in a row it's been agreed I will do pork chops tonight.  With rice.  Will try to sneak some veg into that as well - if I can get to the shops.

The coq au vin that was left has been potted up and I'll try to recycle that.  Maybe get some pastry and do a pie.  Or perhaps just some dumplings and pretend it's stew.

Grilled chicken, wild garlic mash, yorkies and veg last night. Lots of leftovers, so more of the above tonight but with meatballs and ikea sauce instead of chicken. Probably in two sittings 🙄

Oooh, garlic mash!  I fancy some of that now :)

I've made a big pan of spicy veg biriyani for tonight, using chopped shallots, chillies, red, green and yellow peppers, butternut squash, chestnut mushrooms, lots of spices and basmati rice. It smells lovely, and would feed a small town for a week at least.
