Tonight we'll be having roast chicken, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, mixed green veg, carrots and gravy. I've also made a sherry trifle for this week's puds.
I roasted the chicken and potatoes this morning, as I needed to have the oven on anyway to bake a loaf of bara brith to have with a cup of tea at 3 o'clock.2 -
The plan for this evening was to have cheese fondue but OH is waffling so I got a lasagne when I popped out to Taxco to get some milk. It'll be easy and I've some bake at home baguettes that would be easy to garlic butter up.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I'm making a creamy miso mushroom and spinach linguine thing.
The fresh linguine, shallot, garlic, spinach, shiitake and button mushrooms were all free from the Community Fridge this morning so this evening's dinner has cost me the grand sum of a dollop of cream and a spoonful of miso paste (both of which I already had).4 -
