@C_J if you promise to cook that for me i might consider a small bundle myself...maybe
How lovely and thoughtful of you, they will deff appreciate that.
Last night was some LO mash, beans and hot dogs in my fragile state before i went off to gym class.
Tonight OH is picking and I'm having some Olio new potatoes with freezer casserole. Picked up a few bits in Sainsbury's today (mog doesn't like Lidl cat food and Whiskas which is the only other brand they sell often makes her sick). Was quite shocked at some of the price rises across the board.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

@C_J - how kind, I’m sure they will much appreciate it (I definitely would have 😋)!
DH is out tonight, the kids had chicken wraps with potato wedges and salad. I am having a new find on the TGTG app - Sushi Daily! More expensive at £4.99, but I got £16 worth of sushi and yakisoba which I’m looking forward to tucking into (leftovers for lunch tomorrow) 🤗Books read 2023 - 49/753 -

OH made my favourity - chicken liver risotto for dinner last night. I'm doing pork chops, got to get some veg and will look for bok choy or similar.
@kerri_gt - for the mog you might want to try zooplus. you can buy in bulk and they deliver, including litter. I really appreciated their great service when lock down kicked in just after our Ariadne had been diagnosed as diabetic and needing a very special & expensive diet.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. We had YS pizzas that I got from Tesco earlier on this week and froze - 62p each! Along with Aldi fake McD’s hash browns, chicken nuggets and a massive bowl of salad.Books read 2023 - 49/752

@C_J - belated congratulations on your new arrival, all the food you've cooked for their freezer sounds delicious.
I had a leftover baked potato chopped in half and warmed in the oven with a ready made veggie burger from the freezer, fried onions, green salad and pickled courgettes from the fridge. I'm just about to have a coffee and a satsuma for supper.3 -
Spaghetti bolognese, sourdough baguette and leftover green salad for us (was too busy watching sport and doing a jigsaw to cook a roast 😉).Books read 2023 - 49/753

Grandson’s first full day a nursery today, and DIL’s first day at new Hospital placement (student nurse) dropped, so Grandma dropped him off and 7:45, then popped to the shop and bought some stewing steak, beef stew and dumplings tonight, without dumplings for me. As we walked, was a Bonus 5000 steps before breakfast 👍
