Lovely dinner last night of lamb shanks marinated all day in red wine before cooking in more of the marinade, served with spatzle.

I was planning on mushroom cheese omelets tonight but someone (who shall remain nameless) ate most of the mushrooms with his breakfast.  So might go for the schnitzel with new potatoes or possibly the Lidl football box (chicken wings & onion rings) with skinny fries tonight.

Last night microwave rice, Chinese curry sauce and prawns.
    Tonight, sausage, mash gravy.
  • Yesterday was roast lamb steaks, potatoes, veg etc.
Today will be pork, done in the slow cooker with onions, garlic, green pepper and soy sauce
Tomorrow will be quiche, salad and coleslaw.
  • Tonight we are having Cumberland sausage tray bake (peppers, salad potatoes, red onion, courgette, leek) with a grilled fillet of salmon instead for the sausage hater.

Leftovers tonight.  Chilli and jacket pot for OH, and cold beef and jacket pot for myself.

decisions have been made - schnitzel with an egg on top, chips on the side.  I prefer mine without the egg but happy to keep the OH happy so will fry one (or two) up for him.

We had a meat-free Monday today - I made coronation chickpea burgers (really delicious!), which we had with a few cheeky chips.

@Brie - your spatzle sound intriguing, any chance of a recipe link please?

I had fridge scrapings salad, fried onion rings, frozen veggie burger and reheated baked potato. Only half a baked potato remains in the fridge to be eaten tomorrow and I haven't had to go shopping yet this month.
