Lovely dinner last night of lamb shanks marinated all day in red wine before cooking in more of the marinade, served with spatzle.
I was planning on mushroom cheese omelets tonight but someone (who shall remain nameless) ate most of the mushrooms with his breakfast. So might go for the schnitzel with new potatoes or possibly the Lidl football box (chicken wings & onion rings) with skinny fries tonight.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. decisions have been made - schnitzel with an egg on top, chips on the side. I prefer mine without the egg but happy to keep the OH happy so will fry one (or two) up for him.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. We had a meat-free Monday today - I made coronation chickpea burgers (really delicious!), which we had with a few cheeky chips.4

@Brie - your spatzle sound intriguing, any chance of a recipe link please?
I had fridge scrapings salad, fried onion rings, frozen veggie burger and reheated baked potato. Only half a baked potato remains in the fridge to be eaten tomorrow and I haven't had to go shopping yet this month.2
