Had a portion of casserole with some fried sliced mushrooms, wilted spinach (unplanned purchase in Lidl) and three yorkies.
Trip to Lidl also scuppered some of my freezer empty plans as bought another vegan pizza for OH, plus some vegan fish fingers for him to try, and some deff not vegan cookie dough ice cream for me (even though I'm still to get me annual treat tub of creme egg ice cream too).
Plus some of the casserole will need to go in the feeezer. So that plan to empty is isn't going quite so well atm....Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

gammon hock with roasties. OH wanted red cabbage with it but couldn't find any yesterday when I was shopping so I picked up a bag of frozen white cabbage instead.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Husband had brisket and a Yorkshire pudding, daughter and I had vegan sausages and stuffing.
With airfry roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips, brussel sprouts, kale, broad beans and gravy.
I made a baked cheesecake to use up cream cheese and sour cream, which husband can have as a change from fruit cake.3 -

I am stir frying some noodles tonight, with shredded pak choi, snow peas, courgette ribbons and a bag of extra large prawns from the freezer. I have some sachets of Chinese stir fry sauces I could add too - it's a good use-it-up dish!2
