I'm down to the last couple of handfuls of chicken stripped from the Sunday roast. Tonight I am turning it into spicy chicken fajitas, and I am really hoping I can stretch it enough to make a Chinese chicken and noodle stir fry for tomorrow as well. There won't be very much chicken left for that, but I do have half a pack of prawns in the freezer which I could add.

We had pasta and pesto last night which frankly I didn't really enjoy.  It was a good quality jar but I think I'd been in a bit of a mood all day which maybe meant that almost anything might have been meh.  The OH really enjoyed it and went out and bought more today.  Sigh.

Tonight it's a couple of pukka pies - I've got a steak and ale and he's got the snake and pygmy.  If I can be asked I'll add a handful of rocket and a tomato to my plate.

Got a 1 rib rib roast from the market meat guy today.  Just the right size to bbq and split for a monster dinner.  I've been having carnivorous cravings so this will be nice.  Also a fat partridge & some belly pork.  Hoping the bird will be cooked steamed on top of cabbage.....

Used up the last of the salmon tonight, chopped up with mayo on a jacket potato. Also had pickled radishes with it.

Wanted to use up some lemon curd so made this for pudding:

Lush!  (except for the wrapping...I just sling things into gift bags and recycled perfume or tea cup boxes!)

We had a takeaway Indian meal last night. It was nice enough but expensive for 3 of us.

Tonight we had airfry chips, (Harry Ramsden) and egg and beans.
