    Happy Birthday @Islandmaid

Last night was a chicken burger to use the last one up, end of a bag of mixed veg, some alphabites, Yorkshire puds and gravy.

Tonight we shared a vegan bbq jackfruit pizza.

We had LO curry and rice from the other night. Not quite enough for two meals so heated up some Alphabites too, actually went really well and hit the spot.

Think that's everything in and bought for xmas. House still needs tidying and am working tomorrow with family poss coming over in the evening so no idea when that may happen.

Had the M&S "kfc" chicken the other night - very nice, very peppery.  But not incredibly greasy like kfc so likely better for us.

Veal weiners last night from the Polish section at Sainsbugs.  Best one can buy we reckon and very nice just mit brot und senf!  (and coleslaw too)

Tonight will either be a picky seafood feast - prawn ring and maybe escargot that are in the freezer.  Or an omelet.  Simple stuff before the festivities begin....OH is talking fried sardines for breakfast before making a start on the ham, turkey, parsnips, sprouts, roasties and new taters and trifle....  Oh and our meat guy asked if we wanted pigs in blankets and we said "sure, give us 2 packs" thinking that would be a dozen for Christmas and the same again for New Year.  Turns out there are 30 in a pack!  Might cook some up to have with pancakes one morning.....

Cheese, crackers, salmon canapés, lobster and prawn cocktail which i nabbed YS from M&S (think it was from a collection order not picked up, always feel sad seeing those bits put out, wondering why someone hasn't been able to collect their meal).

We have plenty in and more and will not starve or go thirsty. Merry Christmas !! 🎅

We had lovely fillet steaks with chips, garlic mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and sautéed courgette slices.

All the advance prep done for tomorrow, so we’re ready to rock and roll.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas - thank you for all the advice, hints, laughs, support and virtual companionship through what has been a tough old year. You’ve all made it that bit better 😍
