Good to hear Stoneman. Hopefully concentrating on the wedding will take their mind of the theft and make a happy ending to their trip.

Hope they can at least be compensated for losses on their return.

Just booked for next September. Used 2 upgrade vouchers from My LLoyds /avios CC. 2 x Clubworld 130,000 avios and £1100. And we don't have to go to Dublin.

On another note, my sons roadtrip is not going well. He stopped at the golden gate bridge to propose to his G/F and when he got back the SUV had been broken into. All his camera equipment gone (he's a photographer) probably about £7K's worth of stuff, window smashed. They were living in the thing like a camper.
Luckily Budget sorted him out the same day with a new vehicle

That does suck, but then again to leave £7k of kit unattended in a hire car in another country...

Not on our flight, it was the Airbus A330 we flew on. They came round 1 hour into the journey, we got a coffee and a Pepsi and it was £4.40 and that was it for the flight other than the coffee with the meal.
We asked for coffee later in the flight and was told that someone would be coming round with drinks. That turned out to be an attendant who went through the cabin carrying some plastic cups and a yellow kettle jug filled with cold water for anyone who wanted it. When hubby asked if we could have coffee the reply was 'Not at the moment, we may come round later'but that didn't happen.

Well you cant have been in "Premium Class" then as this includes complementary drinks.

2-3-2 seat configuration in Premium, 2-4-2 in "coach".

I flew Prem on return with ThomasCook in Oct last year...
2 - 3 - 2 , and there was no wait for a drink, nor a cost, for alcohol or hot/cold drinks. even got mini tubs of pringles for free too (crap flavours!) .
Drinks were offered within 5 mins of the seatbelt lights going off.....
Also had better food option as well....

Although, we did fly out to SFO in cattle class, and yup, over £4 to buy a can of pepsi (I remember it well cos of the cost!!!) and it took ages to get a cuppa (cost!)

Free drinks + movies in Prem , spend spend in cattle for drinks / movies!

Cost me an extra £230 to upgrade on the way out, but only £60 on the way back, which is a no brainer given coming back is usually the worst and you want to try and get some sleep.

Got back saturday after 6 nights in Vegas.

Flew BA from gatwick, not impressed. Very old and dated 777, with poor service on board. However the price was right....

If the BA 777 is now showing its age, the BA747's must be worse. It's like BA put out the poorer jets for the tourist destinations.

I don't mind so much as long as it gets you there safely but condition wise they are now showing their age.

I'm so sorry to hear that. My Son is also a photographer, so I can fully appreciate how much all that has cost
