Sounds like a great idea to me, so have shared the link with others. My mum is a prime candidate for this but I don't think I'm in a position to preach!!No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.6 -
Picked up The Joy of Cooking from Oxfam, the new 2019 edition and pristine for £15, saving £15 on RRP. Bit expensive, but I've wanted it for years. Also picked up Montignac Recipes and Menus by Dr Michel Montignac, which has lots of really lush low carb and very French recipes.9

Yesterday in the local Acorns shop: A pretty Per Una strappy dress, fully lined and looks unworn £4.50 and a lovely White Stuff blouse £4. Acorns is one of the few shops still taking donations and they said books and jigsaws fly off the shelves....so today I took books and jigsaws as promised. I love supporting Acorns, they do amazing work with children.
Normal people worry me.9 -
Cafe des Amis print in frame. £4.95, Sense.
The poster's a tenner, 35 x 27" framed is £284
Actually bought it for the frame, intending to re-donate the poster, but I quite like it and it might go in the kitchen? Similar frames 'made to measure' are about £80 online.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.9 -
Got to admire one so suited to lockdown... As a memento of the time, that has zing, but when that looses its appeal, frame on!3

I have earmarked this coming Monday pm to have my next hunt so am currently compiling my wish list which includes a pickle fork and shorts I can fall into the river and then wallow back onto a paddleboard in! Does anyone else have a mental wants list or do you just look and decide there and then?"She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."
