  • Had another successful lunchtime on the chazzer-trail, it was boiling but well worth a quick scoot round. I bought a huge bag of curtain hooks, a couple of new small click-lock containers, a sturdy citrus squeezer / zester in a box (not seen this design before, I think its Korean / Japanese) and a small hanging picture frame for just 20p each, 6 books at 20p each and one at 25p so that was a total bargain at £2.45.

The next shop was slightly pricier - bought an Aldi No 14 Velvet Rose candle for £2.50 (usually sell at about £4 and I wouldn't have spent that much on one but this was a treat) and a really unusual round glass decorative container for £3. Its not usually the kind of thing I go for, but it matches my bathroom perfectly and I'll stick a candle in it. So nearly £8 spent in total, but worth it I think.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.
