You are all getting some lovely things. I have only bought a couple of items this year so far, I am hoping to have killed the charity shop bug dead, I still plan to shop there but I have to stop buying clothes, I have so many that I just don't get to wear the things I love often enough as they are on such a long rotation with all the other stuff I love. I just don't want to feel like I have to be going round them all the time or I might miss something.

Blimey that man! First he finds 3 Denby Seville dinner plates with change from £3 the lot & they are Huge. (as in bigger than my usual storage boxes width & depth & he just howled with laughter....)Then he found a stall doing china at 10 pence a piece & picked out Denby Imperial Blue dinner plates x2 & little tea plates x3 then Denby jet 2 dinner plates & 1 tea plate (as the other tea plates were chipped)So I am contemplating a pile of Denby plates for 80 pence.Youngest has been sorted for propelling pencils - 6 staples boxes of 10 each - we’ve spent £6 on a single pencil so while these aren’t quite as lovely they are absolutely as functional! He needs to get out of the house and hence goes a-hunting. I am hugely lucky in him.6

My wardrobe rail (in a built in wardrobe) has just collapsed, pointing out to me that I have too many clothes.

Ooh that sounds fab. I love Fossil bags.Matron_Midge said:I was in town today and went into the hospice shop. Managed to snaffle a fabulous gold/cream (not gaudy, just very subtle metallic sheen to it) cross body bag by Fossil for £6.99. It is pristine and has the serial number inside. Really happy.
i managed to get 2 tote bags a heavy canvas blue flowery Joules one and a lighter grey cotton Sophie Allport one with chickens for 50 p each.6 -
That has happened to me a few times....had to have all the wooden rails replaced with metal ones. Hate to think how much weight they have to hold!Pollycat said:dolly84 said:You are all getting some lovely things. The Cancer Research shops locally have been given lots of new items to sell. Suggested donation is £1. They had lots of Burts Bees lip balms (about 2 colours) & little tiny tins of hand salve. There were other “beauty” type products but the BB stuff is handy for gift top ups etc. 😀 I think the normal lip balm is about £6 no idea on the hand salve. Looks like the size you’d get in a gift set....Lurking in a galaxy far far away...8

I went to a few charity shops as I was dropping off some donation bags. I was determined not to buy anything for the sake of it and only buy something I really liked.
I found a short navy bird-patterned Next dress and a perfect condition cobalt blue (one of my favourite colours) F&F jumper. Everything in the hospice shop was £3 or less so I paid £5 for those two.

An unexpected flying visit to Otley and the St Gemma's Hospice shop. Nothing of interest and I was about to leave when I spotted a basket of brand new packaged tights pushed underneath a clothing rail. Woo hoo! 3 lots of M & S shaper tights in navy. M & S price £5 a pair. Chazza price 50p a pair.
