One of my sons has a tea set in Woods Jasmine. Cups and saucers, plates and a teapot. It’s yellow but has a brownish pattern of flowers on each item. That’s what caught his eye. Brown flowers, lol4

There was an urban myth that the establishment church ie Cof E had the green whereas the Methodists had Blue we certainly always had blue.

My grandma used to have some of the blue.... I didn't like it in those days and I think it all got thrown out when she died. Of course I love the look of it now! Just looked up the base stamp - might try and find a few pieces as a sort of 'homage'
A few weeks ago I saw a young woman wearing a tweed blazer stylee jacket with dark blue jeans, what looked like a cream silk shirt with a single string of pearls, tan boots and a tan bag and I thought how great the look was. Today in Oxfam they had a Harris Tweed ladies blazer/jacket in a tan/navy/beige houndstooth check in perfect condition, (well Harris Tweed never wears out does it?) and in my size. The make was 'The Classic Boutique' and it was a perfect fit and I loved it but there wasn't a price tag on the blooming' thing! Much deliberation between the staff and they decided it had to go back for re-pricing. It took a lot of cajoling and persuasion and eventually they came up with a price of £6.99. Google tells me that similar jacket by that make retails for around £160. Very pleased and I already have all the other accoutrements so no further expense involved for my new look.7 -

Trip to Largs required!
Staff at a charity shop have been left bowled over after a generous family gifted more than 400 bags of donations - including brand new threads worth 'tens of thousands'.
British Heart Foundation in Largs , North Ayrshire received the huge donation, which included high-end clothes and accessories - most with the tags still attached.
The women's items, available in sizes 12, 14 and 16, include a dazzling white Jacques Vert dress which cost £499 and will sell for £100.
A Viyella coat which cost £299 is being flogged for £75.
