Was buying some trousers the other month and there was a multipack on ebay BNIP cheaper than the cost of one pair retail, so I bought the multipack and have donated the surplus.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.5 -

I can't use it on my iPad. I have acquired an android tablet that was not being used by my mum and that works. I imagine people are staying away for a range of reasons related to the new site. I agree it will be a shame if it disappears.

Well, I continue to be amazed by the serendipity of the chazzer. Last night I was looking at several online shoe shops, and had decided to treat myself to a pair of black Charmaine heels for work, plus a pair of black Emmy ballerina flats - both from Hotter, and both so comfortable. I got distracted and didn’t complete my purchase.
Today I volunteered to run an errand at work, which simultaneously afforded me an opportunity to include a cheeky lunchtime saunter around several charity shops in an area I don’t often visit. I could not believe my luck when (in shops number three and seven of 10 in the same road) I found BOTH pairs of these shoes in my size and the right colour for the princely sum of £3.99 a pair, saving me somewhere in the region of £130 compared with the cost of new ones. Both pairs look virtually unworn, the soles have barely a scuff mark on them. Very, very pleased!9 -
Great news CJ. I love it when that happens. I picked up a really nice grey M&S coatigan for £6.99 and a BNWT pair of M&S black work trouser for £7. I shall have to start wishing for a Gucci handbag and a Burberry Mac. If serendipity strikes for me I’ll let you know.3

CJ - hurrah on the Hotter hit!
On a footwear related note, I cheerfully admit that you almost certainly have to know them to love them (& cope with the inevitable banter that comes from wearing them), but Himself pulled a blinder with a pair of clogs. Yes, lump of wood for the sole, leather uppers & a padding of rubber to reduce the clonk walking. £127’s worth apparently https://www.clogs.co.uk/derby.htm& if they’ve been worn more than an hour we’ll be quite surprised. And the dear bloke found me another Denby manor green teapot. Unusual not only as it was within Acquisition Committee guidelines on price but also as he knows I have, um, several already. I still happy as a pig in mud though which I gather was the point.Hm. When I figure how to Taje Off the Underlining, I will... Bah- gadget related fix.2 -

One night we thought he was dancing - no, chasing a mouse, with one clog on his foot and whacking at the mouse with the other. Mousie got away and he got worn out.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.2 -
Back in the day, I had a pair of chunky wooden Scholl Exercise Sandals which were not dissimilar to clogs - and were very comfortable indeed!3
