Hooray...all the blooming' notification emails seem to have stopped. It just seems to take a while for the changes to be actioned when you untick preferences.
Why is the line spacing so weird tho when ya post??
Anyhoo...back to business.....on my way home from Bedale this afty I stopped off in Ripon and had a mooch round the chazzas. Came home with a pair of Hobbs 'Odella' navy trousers b/n and priced at £7.99 in Age Concern. Took a chance at the fit cos I could not be faffed with unburdening myself of all the winter wear to try 'em on but they fit just great and was pleasantly surprised to find them selling currently at £110 (tho reduced to £75!).

I really really hate this site. I used to be able to click on the page and view all the posts now for some reason I just see part of it. I am not the most tech savvy and now found this difficult to use

Dropped off another sack of trousers. Youngest growing like a weed, but he now has more space to put things away. (Well, so we hope.)2

I was thinking the same thing. I hope that it gets fixed quickly as I'd hate to lose it after all of these years....:(The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

Has anyone bought in a charity shop purely to sell on eBay? I saw a Reiss dress yesterday for £12 and was very tempted to buy just sell.2

stormbreaker (can't get blooming' quote thingy to work) I have been tempted many times but have never done it....put off by all the fees and charges these days, not much reward for a lot of effort
For e.g. last week I saw a Burberry dress in the Martin House Hospice Shop, looked brand new and lovely quality, priced at £5.99 - it was my size but was just too short for me so EBay did cross my mind (briefly).
Today's jaunt took me to the Sue Ryder 'everything a pound' sale but didn't find a single thing of interest. Most of the stuff had been in the shop for yonks so I guess they were just desperate to shift some stock. Then had a quick dash home in a panic as I couldn't find my debit card....turned up in a handbag I used a couple of weeks ago! Back out again I called into the Cancer Research barn place where everything is £3. Got a brand new pair of Principles, slim fit, trousers in a dusky pink colour - price tag of £19.50 still attached. Then found a pair of Soleflex suede loafers in a dark taupe shade - they were plastered with mud but I could see that they were hardly worn otherwise. Now cleaned and anti bacterialised will be very useful in spring. Yesterday I got a belt from the community chazza...tan woven elastic string with leather buckle bits for £1.4
