Rousing hurrahs, you amazing lot! However, now I've got them home I have a horrible feeling that they might well be genuine snakeskin! The pattern of the 'leather' is irregular and does not appear to have a repeat and some of the 'scales' are curling slightly at the edges.teameffort wrote: »Lands End sleeveless dark Leopard print dress £7 and amazing qualityRe the Lands End dress:
pull on your big girl pants (figuratively speaking) and wear it.
Or maybe save it for the Christmas works 'do' first.Craghoppers Classic Kiwi Trousers in black for DH, he has been on the lookout for this type of trouser and now has two pairs, they are great for walking all year round - £2.25 paid.Turquoise & coral Mantaray tunic which will be great as a beach cover-up (I'm vertically challenged) £1.00 Air Ambulance.
I was all hopeful to be sent to one of the nicer areas of Liverpool - very very little Denby & the charity shops know their pricing stuff... Dash. Still, I tried.0 -
I have had some lovely buys in the past week but sadly absolutely nothing fitted or suited me. I now have some less stunning exchanges and a credit note! I shouldn't complain as I have done really well just recently and better times will come ..... I was supposed to fly off to the Red Sea today but the flights were Thomas Cook so that's out. And I had bought three lovely long dresses for the evenings too. Still, at £1 each at the Age Concern shop I think I got off lightly.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

Sorry to hear that, so disappointing for you.
I picked up a few things yesterday.
A Next jumper for DS, navy blue with a dark grey fleck, elbow patches made from the same knit, 3 button funnel neckline which will look very smart with one of his checked shirts - if I can ever get him out of joggers and a t shirt - this looks unworn or barely worn too £3.20 paid.
A Jack Wills rugby shirt in thick white cotton with thick blue stripes, embroidered details and number on the back, this was for DH but it is too tight on the arms so I'm having it - £4.40.
Lastly I found a gorgeous M&S Indigo jumper in very soft wool blend, nordic style in a mid blue colour with the top bit in other shades of blue and white, it's a size 16 which I'm not and it fits really well so someone may have found it too tight if they were a 16 and donated it barely worn if worn at all - £4.50.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Our Age UK is having a 'everything £1.00' sale.
I bought:- a 100% silk dress by Full Circle in fab shades of midnight & petrol blue and greeny bronze.
- a star by Julian McDonald black and cream chiffon top. The front is asymmetrical with black and cream and the back is plain back that is longer than the front. The sleeves are the roll-up with a tab style. Could be dressy with velour leggings/trousers or casual with checked leggings or jeggings.

Pollycat - I am going to put the Central Perk top away for her but other than that I didn't find anything that I was looking for. She's not getting much as she's already had a new phone in advance of her birthday but I did want some things for her bedroom and some bits from lush.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I bought my husband two new looking jumpers from a charity shop at the weekend. They are both black and one is thinner material and one is very thick and warm. PDSA shop, £4.50 each.:)0

It's simply TLI (as opposed to TMI).
I need to know what Denby pattern etc etc.
It's simply not good enough, DFV.0
