This is sometimes what happens when you have signed a contract but just stop the direct debit.
The poster you quoted (Fullyloaded) has not logged back on to MSE since 6th January so we have no idea if the advice to cancel direct debit worked for him/her.

Hi Polly, please illuminate me: are you a forum moderator? or you are following this Exemplar situation. Thank you.Pollycat said:0 -
No, I'm not a moderator (if I was my username would be MSE_Pollycat).
I'm not a board guide either (if I was it would say so under my username where yours says 'Forumite).
I'm just a long standing member who has subscribed to this thread as it interested me.
Do you have any issues with anything I've posted?0 -
No, no. Don't get me wrong. No issues with your posts. Also, I'm new to this MSE, so I didn't know all this thinks about MSE_Moderator stuff. Brand new user.Pollycat said:No, I'm not a moderator (if I was my username would be MSE_Pollycat).

. I wanted to know basically why are you following this thread. I'm curious if you had bad experience with Exemplar education. And if you had, please can you send me a statement about your situation to add it to my case in Glasgow court. Thank you. 0 -
As I said in my earlier reply "it interested me".
I have never had any experience with this company.
I bookmark any thread that piques my interest or that I've posted on.
Anyone can subscribe to any thread by clicking on the red symbol on the right hand side of the thread heading.
If you hover over the symbol, you'll see it says 'bookmarks' and if you click on it, it is then filled in in red.
You can then access any thread you have bookmarked by clicking on 'Bookmarks' on the right hand side of the paler blue banner - it's the 3rd in the line of 'notifications', 'messages', 'bookmarks' and 'profile'.

Same here @Pollycat. I bookmarked the thread some time ago as I was disappointed that any school would distribute information about what appears to be a disreputable company.
It's quite an old thread so maybe what's happened is that they have picked up new business because of parents wanting to try and help children make up for missed schooling during Covid.
If you want to ask any posters for statements @CristianTaune, you can send them a private message or ask them to email you through your mse username. That way it's all kept confidential. You just click on a username and it lets you send a message to that person.0 -

My post are keep being deleted. Ok. I will try to follow all the rules.
So, be warned this Exemplar education is a very poor quality software. made in the 90's somewhere in Australia or southern hemisphere. Do not get in. You will have a loan for 4-5 years. Search the internet for reviews on other sites. Lots of parents are strugling to get out of the contract for a product the kids cannot use and is not correct to UK school.
Thank you.0
