Sorry to hear re the covid and you having to cancel your trip. I think 90% of my friends who went to Glastonbury caught covid there - its still around a lot.
Rest, fluids and I steamed when I had it every few hours to relieve throat etc.
Dr Neils sinus nasal rinse is great as well for any cold or covid as gets rid of infections sitting in your nose etc so do a few times a day and you will get better quickly hopefully
DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Evening everyone
thank you so much for posting. Good to know about the costs of a fan - I thought about it, but didn't care how much it cost, so to speak, not when I was that ill when the weather was that hot. Victory today in that I managed to put the dishwasher on not long after it was full, so I'll have a proper cup for breakfast tea and coffee tomorrow, can't take comfort in disposables, though I'd use them if I *had* to.
Still no talking! Didn't have the energy to set up a steaming thing, though I know how beneficial it is - might try to do it even when I'm halfway well, that would be nice.
Off to bed now, this is a late night for me2023: the year I get to buy a car5
