Sending positive vibes, but not those sorts of positive vibes!
Have just come down with covid myself (and dc too) after it not daring to cross the threshold before now. For me, it's like flu. Ugh.

Thank you all, for the *good* vibes :) and apple, you poor thing, you and dc both - yes, I haven't had it yet either, and my symptoms are like my colds used to be (haven't had a cold since I retired in 2016) but they're also like the list of symptoms the NHS gives for omicron covid.  I forgot I couldn't drink for 30 minutes before a test, so I can have a test in 10 minutes, I've got it all laid out (only done it about 4 times, cos I was shielding so strongly!).

Also decreased my Asda order by about a third - just the stuff I need, not fresh storecupboard stuff.  It's arriving tomorrow.

Oh.  It's covid.  2nd line appeared in about two minutes - I've heard that means I've got a big dose of it, or is that a fairy tale?

Thanks both - I've stashed the cassette by the tv, where it wont be disturbed, and I'll check - it's fairly dark, from what I remember, I have to say :(

Not surprised I'm very infectious, El - I'm concerned for my sister, we only got different trains yesterday when our railway lines diverged at the edge of South London.  And we've been sharing a cabin for 2 weeks :(

I have lots of supplies, thank you xx ibuprofen, paracetemol, aspiring, lemsip, I even have an oximeter in my under the bed crate, though I don't know how to use it yet.  Colour me embarrassed: I'll learn tomorrow!

    Night night all.

Oh no! I do hope you'll only have a mild dose. But please do check that oximeter thingy - I'm very glad today that I'm not asthmatic, as it is all on my chest and breathing is purposeful (rather than mindless)

Oh no! All fingers and toes crossed that it doesn't hit you too hard, and hope your sister escapes it too. Rest up, and lots of tv if you can manage it!
