Ooh, getting close now, exciting stuff!3
-
It really is close! Very overcast here, and I've actually brought the washing in - it's all by a couple of open windows.
I kept finding other little bits to do: it's 26, not 23, but I've done 7. Two items make sense to do today: unpacking my printer, and opening my post, to get rid of all the packing/paperwork, into the recycling bin for tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car2 -

They really are, beanie! This last hurrah had better be worth it
Got all the recycling out, partially unpacked the printer (all the cardboard is gone, at least), dishwasher cycled through, I even managed to go for a short walk: it's promising rain, but it never arrives. Please come here!
Just hanging about now, reading, wandering about the interweb, reading some free kindle fictionwe'll see how much else gets done over the next few days: the most important thing is to pack, after all, and that's not on the lists

Raining here ladies - I'll blow it your way when it's given us a bit of a soak!2
-
Hi edwink! Yep, I got a few spots mid-evening, but that was it. I'm going to give a few sensitive plants a good soaking before I go away.
Cheery - thanks for the blow, appreciatedI'm so glad to see you with a tiny bit of energy back.

I confess my blowing isn't very effective - it's been raining heavily here for several hours now 🙄 Grateful for the soaking our garden is getting though!3
-
We have rain! It's not (yet?) heavy like yours, Cheery, but kind of steady, after a hesitant start. It will take a long time to replenish the soil at this rate, but I'm grateful for anything we get.
Jobs done: backed up bits of my phone onto my computerI tried to get a Samsung account to back it up, but it didn't happen. Cleaned the inside of the microwave - it was starting to become a health hazard.
Long break for lunch now - as I'm sitting down, I may manage to put the final coat of varnish on my toes, and then that's another job ticked off2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Third day in a row ... the Happy Wheel doesn't want me
the first two days, it thought I already had a game open elsewhere, and today, its decided to award me a free bingo ticket, but won't let me click the link to "buy" it. I might have to withdraw and start again when I come back, which is disappointing. Still: I got the account live with a £5 deposit, and now there's £15.63 in there. It's run absolutely smoothly apart from the last 3 days, and when I've needed to click things, I've been watching morning tv anyway, so all's well, comparatively speaking
