lived in the bottom drawer of the freezer, circling around it, for quite a while. I'm still using it up
but that's the sort of thing I felt it necessary to do, directly because of Sains. The Asda is 10 miles away, I never walked there in any case.
Anyway! Afternoon was good! Outlander, Icelandic history and geography, frugal brownies, a bit of a walk, all good. Today, clearing up a little (setting up for sorting the photos with my sister tomorrow), then I'm off to admire the local Village Day - still not going to launch myself into the middle of the crowd, but I'll pootle a little closer than last year.
ETA - won £25 on the premium bonds. Winnings now equivalent to 6.89% interest.2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
Right, I need to focus again! Money shuffle comes first, then putting the wm on, then possibly seeing to the ants nest right outside my front door **shrieky blue smiley** 😧😠💀2023: the year I get to buy a car2

Sort of a springcleaning day today: did the money shuffle, checked Net Worth (okay), shower, shampoo, beautifying my feet, vacuuming upstairs, stripped bed (uh oh, need to make it!), watered seedlings, got the dw ready, won 4p on the Happy Wheel and I have £2 in casino gubbins to take, though I'm not quite sure how to do it, but it's registered to my account, so I'll give it a go tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car3 -
I wanted to carry on being superwoman, but it didn't quite work. Ah well 😉 Sorted out some of the photos we've distributed amongst ourselves, and cooked, my word, I cooked - the coconut loaf cake, and an experiment with flapjacks, a really simple Mary Berry recipe, which worked - instead of taking sachets of porridge for the hotel in Liverpool before the holiday, I'll just take flapjacks, really nice.
The photos took me back to Superlambanana timeSuperlambanana - Wikipedia such fun! A few of them live in various train stations across Merseyside, always a pleasure to see them
Got to using these casino bonuses that came to me via the Happy Wheel - I'm not sure I'm using them correctly, but if I don't, I've got no chance of profiting. Just making sure I don't use my own money, and I'm satisfied I've got the hang of that, anything else is gravy.
Raining all day here, and just clearing up - I need to *do* something!2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
We love the superlambananas too! 😁
I sometimes struggle with the bonuses, but they do tell you when you are playing with unlimited funds in the rooms, at which point it’s time to stop. It’s always worked for me so far!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Just spent £26 on various first aid-type things, partly for the holiday and partly for ordinary stuff (the 80p paracetemol etc) at Boots. Order for sea sickness pills approved
I've been trying to get out all day, even if it's just to finally do more work in the garden, but the rain is constantly on and off, and it becomes torrential. So I did a bit more photo organising, on the computer as well, and checked out the day trips on the cruise, they've been published today. And Gutenberg has some 19th century explorer types writing diaries about Iceland and Greenland, so I downloaded a few of those.2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
My lack of understanding of the casino games is what has put me off having a go at proper 'casino MB' - it's soooo confusing! After a while though you get used to the games on offer on the HW, so you'll get more confident (she says, but she really sticks to what she knows works!).
The explorer diaries sound like fun! I hope you manage to get out today - the weather was very unpredictable yesterday!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
