Well done with the green bin - it sounds like you made great progress. And I love your arrangement with your neighbour that you fill the space that’s left - there should be more cooperation like that 😊

    Good morning all!

Boots - I've decided to wait the 3 days they recommend before phoning.  I loathe phoning companies so much - if there's a chance that they know they haven't fulfilled the whole order, I'll go with it.  And then at least they can't get grumpy with me for not following their website instructions.  Even though I think there's been a mistake.

Lovely neighbour has already retrieved the bin and put it back in my front yard, bless him.  You're right, madvix, the cooperation is amazing, and it comes from him, its true: he takes people's cats to the vet, he does shopping, he fixes things, he waves down the ambulances that come for his next door neighbour.  Amazing man.

I'm going to pot on my seedlings today, and eat the kale seedlings as sprouts  :o I've been leaving things on the windowsill, and most of them are fried.

DW is on, wm will be on shortly for bedding.

Money shuffle *needs* to be completed.

YG survey is in - I'll alter the settings so I can get the income that edinburgher explained on his thread.

Two paragraphs of my mum's genealogy work to be integrated into mine, and got rid of - found out my local tip now accepts bags of shredded paper, and I'm pretty sure my sister will take it if I give it to her all bagged up.

Tidying, as usual.  Office is in chaos **again**.

Have a walk!  Did a newish one a couple of days ago, it was good!

Oh your neighbour does sound absolutely lovely! What a star and how good having him around must be for building community.

I'm not sure the YG thing is a given - I've not been offered anything like that, sadly. My sister is also getting a monthly £5 from them for Interweb tracking I think, but not me.

Hmm... ignore my comments about YG - I've just discovered all that was mentioned. It turns out there's more on the website than on the app!

No problem :) I just did a YG survey (it promised 750 points, actually awarded me the ordinary 50, so I did pop a note about reality checks, not really a complaint, just, wots up, doc?).  I thought I'd be able to change the settings from there, but I'll have to go back to what Ed said and follow it through, I couldn't see anything about it.  Half an achievement, anyway

Money shuffle completed (easy access up from 0.1% to 0.8%, saver down from 1.5% to 1%, why do they bother?).

Emergency watering for a perennial I haven't planted yet, put it in the shade at least.

Wm and dw done and dusted - but water pressure seems low, I might rinse the beans I intend to slow cook tomorrow *now*, in case there's a problem later.

I also spent some time on the tourist thing for the Norfolk trip that comes after Iceland, that was worthwhile.  Start of the lunch break now

:D I had a loooong lunch, and then I thought I'd better do something with my life, so I repotted the Chinese chives I've been growing!  Terrifying!  Moving things, cleaning things, rinsing things, finding the compost, digging it out of the bag with a blasted plastic teaspoon  :D  utterly ridiculous  :D   A lot of what I grew has just got stuck at a baby seedling stage (did they need more nutrition?) or got fried in the sunshine, but the chives seem to be growing up.  They're now completely squiggly mind you, transplanting wasn't the smoothest procedure I've ever undertaken  :D

Anyway, I went a walk then, once it had cooled down a bit, and I've been footling about with the genealogy pages, successfully.  No tidying though  :'(

Oh, and Boots are ready for me to pick up the boots points order I made, ie the moisturiser thats basically free.  Still no word about the travel sickness and paracetemol tabs.  I'll phone them tomorrow, this is ridiculous.

    So far I have:
    - made 4p on the HW.
    - sent sister the Suffolk notes.
    - did a single page of my mum's genealogy notes, another one finished :)
    - then spoke to her.  She's really getting her act in gear for our trip.  I'm not bad, but need to do more.
    - phoned Boots.  Very matter of fact that systems are problematic (including not sending delivery texts, for heaven's sake!) Next parcel is expected 11.24 - 3.24 TODAY!  If I hadn't phoned, I wouldn't have known.  We'll see if it turns up.

    To do today:
    - another YG survey just turned up, I'll do that.
    - stack dw
    - dehydrate rhubarb
    - plant the needy perennial, let it get its roots in the soil.
    - clean a bit of the kitchen floor.
    - get gro light going.
    - more genealogy, while I'm in the mood?
I'm concerned at how much of this is either at the back of the house or noisy - my doorbell is untrustworthy

Utterly gobsmacking.  Three items of the Boots order still not turned up - 2 packets of paracetemol and a pack of blister plasters.  !!!!!!?  The guy on the phone this morning told me they're all in stock.  I'm not going to alter my routine to try to catch them on *another* day.  What's the point of making a good size order if they deliver in teeny increments?  I mean, yes, I understand the logic, but I'm so annoyed, I just need a rant.  As well, the Royal Mail guy wanted me to open my front door to take a photo.  He was about two feet away, so I said no, you can take a photo of me (I was outside, not yelling through the door!)  He refused.  And then followed a lecture on terms and conditions, and I'm afraid to say I only understood about 10% of what he said.  I apologised, and he said he couldn't understand me either (I was squeaking with frustration at this point).  I wasn't sure if he wasn't going to refuse to leave the package with me, and I really want those travel sickness pills.  I try to keep away from people even if I'm outside (60% increase in infection rate in my town!) but I automatically stuck my face closer to him because I just couldn't get what he was saying.  Awful, awful, awful.  When I realised he was just lecturing me, and intended to let me keep the pills, I tried to draw it to a close as a bad job, but he wouldn't go, just wanted to keep lecturing me about terms and conditions.  At least I put the cardboard straight in the recycling :(  If I'm asked for feedback, I'm not going to mince my words.
