Absolutely
I was half of a mind to get some more this morning, since the rest is being rubbished, not recycled, but it didn't quite work out that way.
Interesting morning though! I can confirm I don't do enough tidying because tidying = running up and down stairs all day
However, tidying has been done
- dishwasher finished
- sink cleaned!
- washing machine is on
- tidied away shopping stashed upstairs, and therefore ...
- finally found the cable that connects my external HDD for backup to my computerand backed up straight away. Shiny new computer does it at twenty times the speed of the old one, very happy about that.
- tidying the top of the bookcase so I can put up the Christmas cards!
- Viking Direct parcel has arrived, good grief! Haven't opened it yet. Nor the post.
- I'm charging the batteries for the doorbell unit that sits inside the house. I hope that means the doorbell will work again
- tidying has included emptying out and drying my travel kettleI had a spell when I was using it overnight to make a cuppa when I couldn't sleep, but its just taking up space, needs to go away now. Definitely more space.

Wow KC - what an amazing morning - what did you put in your coffee this morning? I want some of whatever it is!
Popped on to say I did a bit of KC-style gardening - had a LOOOOOONNNNNG 1.5hr teams meeting this morning & needed to decompress so popped outside to put out the recycling and ended up doing a 20 minute garden tidy.
Plants in the herb trough trimmed & yellow leaves in the garden waste bin. Then removed the orange slices from my front door wreath as they were no longer dry and were starting to mould - the rest of the wreath is fine, and the birdies have not sussed out that the berries are edible yet so it is still intact. Also pulled out some mushrooms that had sprouted in amongst the herbs - all the online guides say they are edible, but I'm not that brave!
It's pleasantly warm and not a bit of wind in sight, which reminded me I need to reinstitute that habit of 1/2 hour plant/garden tending to my lunch break every day as it is a good way to let go of the negative energy & re-energize for the afternoon!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! I was surprised at myself RT, I confess
WM is on again (coat was filthy from carrying the huge piece of wood the other day), and I just remembered the SB voucher turned up, so I allocated it to Amazon straight away - plenty on there I want to buy
Clearing out the plant trough sounds lovely! Glad it re-energizes you, that's so important when you're working all day. I confess I'm a bit zonked now, I'm just going to have some tea and have a bit of a read2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -

Blimey, you've been active (I was sat here thinking, who are you, and what have you done with KC?!) - excellent news with the wood. I am a snaffler too - mostly crates and pallets but I need some scaffold boards to replace the front garden edging that has rotted - unless I can see any Victorian edging on FB over the next few months.
So organised. I think it's something to do with Winter Solstice!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

So organised. I think it's something to do with Winter Solstice! But being more physically active will help with that
that lack of activity is not the person I am, nor want to be.
There were a couple of lovely pallets in the scrap wood pile, but its three quarters of a mile away, that's not doable for me. I know what you mean about the edging - at the front of the front border, mine is mostly just bricks turned diagonally, it's clever but lets a *lot* of soil through, which creates weed problems. That's very far down the list though.
Today: hmmm, a *little* bit more tidying upstairs, but I may actually graduate to a bit of cleaning, since the downpours right now are *very* heavy.
I've been looking at my "the rest of 2020" list (insert hollow laugh here) I'd actually managed to do almost a quarter of itand I've now increased it again by the same amount, so I'll be having a ponder and posting a summary

Well, here we are, in Tier 4. With horrendous national daily cases and deaths
I'm still seeing my sister tomorrow, but whereas we were going to drive to a local NT property and go for a walk, we'll go for a walk from my house, and she won't come in
I'm still glad I've just bought a 2021 diary, but the first part of the year is going to be notes about zoom meetings, as far as I can see.
Still tidying and cleaning - my laundry bin is completely empty, woo hoo. All the Christmas cards are up. Recycling has been put out to be collected tomorrow. Dishwasher stacked to be used this evening. The mandarin peel I made earlier this year has been sitting soaking - I'll make the mincemeat tomorrow, I'll soak the fruit itself overnight tonight. Recipes for that and Jack Monroe's easy Christmas nut loaf have been gathered
I'm making a list of whatever I can, because in reality that lot took about 90 minutes max
