Not for me I'm afraid, debtfree - she's worked up to 50 starjumps, for instance, whereas I recently got breathless talking and walking up a hill, which was shocking.  I need to work up to something like that, sadly.

Thanks Cheery!  Not a problem to not realise it and yes thank you, I slept amazingly - didn't even open my peepers till after 8am, which is an extreme lie-in for me

Awww, that's lovely!  Hmmm, the garden today: I think digging up the smaller weeds; actually, there were cloudbursts here last night, I don't want to walk on the soil very much.  Re-think: what I'll do is dig up some of the heather that's encroaching on several herbs, and also has quite a lot of couch grass in it too.  I can do that from the patio, which protects the soil.  

The main job today is actually putting away all the shopping that I washed and dried yesterday - I left it out on purpose, to let it finish off air-drying.  I also want to find the Jack Monroe recipe that mixes packet sage & onion stuffing with chestnuts, very yummy very easily.

Thank you maggiem!  I really did enjoy it - it was a big glass, basically, and it was wonderful    I'll have the next on Christmas Day, got to make it feel different.greent said:

That's great I'm a lot healthier now than I was in the days when I could only manage 15 minutes a day, it's grown to 1hr and 15 minutes with no ill effects.  But it still takes a lot of effort to dig up bramble roots!  The difference that it makes, to regularly chip away at the work that needs to be done, is amazing.

Doing well, even on the ridiculous number of dishwasher tabs I've got in stock.  Nearly done with the shopping, so having a break, and I'll have a wander on Jack's website to find that recipe.  The other thing I want to do today, is to move the cooling trays on top of the bookcase they've been sat there since I had the kitchen done, but I want to use the space exclusively for Christmas cards, so I'll have to get it somewhere else.    I *will* have a good looking living room for Christmas, and then I will *keep* it that way

And of course I haven't done either of those things I've actually been checking out debenhams and qvc for sales.  There's actually enough I want to buy at JL for me to get free delivery and and use the £45 of vouchers I earned at Pinecone (woo hoo, free money ).  I cut and pasted how to use them, but I'm not sure it will work, and I'm not sure if the whole process has an expiry date.  We'll see.

Currently in the basket: salt and pepper mills (the ones I used to have just don't work any more, literally, these new ones are solid wood with ceramic action points), 100% cotton nightie (I have one to wear and one in the wash, and to be honest its a bit tricky sometimes in wet weather!), and a set of organic cotton babygros (one of my brother's daughter's in law is having another baby).   I'm definitely trying to buy quality and still pay attention to the price paid.  This lot comes to about £52, which leaves me £7 cash to pay after the vouchers, and also squeaks in to free delivery.  Very happy with that.

ETA - also squeaked in to order an Amazon voucher at SB, and they gave me an extra 55 points after that for having a birthday.  Very good for playing computer games that I'd be distracting myself with anyway!

Amazon order is still sitting there, I can't face working out the voucher right now.

However, I *have* been doing a Viking Direct order for postage stamps.  Also got a normal type of diary, for 69p, woo hoo!   Also included some hand sanitiser (yawn).  

I've also been trekking out to a local car park, where local builders have been putting waste before having it collected.  Some lovely thick planks of wood there!  My raised beds in the New Year will be lovely

I absolutely am    the workmen taking the majority to the tip were very sweet.  They pulled out a really chunky thing for me, and banged down all the nails in it, so it was safe for me to carry.  Stars, all of them

That's good!  We often seem to have quite a disconnect between the surveys and actually spending the vouchers but they can be very useful, no denying it.
I've found my Jack Monroe recipe for chestnuts and stuffing mix!  Just need to choose between the mincemeat mixes where I can chuck a load of ground almonds in there, and my Christmas recipes are complete.  Nothing else gets a recipe, I guarantee that
