Hello flowers (I like that too
) Happy Christmas to one and all.
Mincemeat is only just about to come out of the oven, so I'll do that, greenbee.
Nothing mse done today of course (apart from sending a lot of cat photos via whatsapp, not messaging). But we do that anyway
I *did* confirm I'm not a brilliant cook, definitely too slapdash, but it's edible for me, it's tasty, those are the only things that matter
"Nutroast" was chestnuts, cashews, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds, with stuffing mix, onion and assorted herbs and spices.

Thanks Edwink
So, yesterday was nice - isolated, as I knew it would be, but very nice, phone calls and texts were some highlights. I confess I'm quite tired after the shenanigans - I'm really not made to be domestic, or it *might* be a CFS type reaction after such a long/fast walk on Christmas Eve. Don't know, which is aggravating - that's often the reason I sort of under-achieve, that I'm worried about ordinary tiredness morphing into fatigue. Well, I'll go out for a walk today anyway, before the Orange warning from the Met Office lights up, get some fresh air in.
Hope everyone has a good day today!

Glad you had a nice day yesterday KC, and that you're well wrapped up and cosy after your walk today - it's certainly been a chilly one out there!
Do you have any plans for the rest of the week?3 -
We went out for a walk this morning and there were so many people out there! With dogs, small children... And it was very very muddy up there... But it was really good to get out. Enjoy!

🎅❄🎄🎅❄🎄🎅❄🎄🎅❄🎄 Woo hoo! Thank you RT!
Hi there Cheery, apple - the walk was lovely - walked to the local posh village, had to turn off before the High Street, there were streams of families coming my way, just too crowded. That meant I went to another little nature reserve, near "my" massive great charity shop where I bought my sprouter and my armchair. Out about an hour and 15, it was cold but not too bad down here.
The rest of the week - can't see my sister till the 30th, the app has told her to self isolate till then. I'm going to watch the Great British Sewing Bee tonight, then work on the outline for next year. I've already finished off the listing of seeds and when to plant them - I ordered half a dozen more from Premium Seeds Direct. I have too manybut that's okay. And when I've done the list, and posted it on here, I'll start doing the list

I don't mind there being a fair number of people out and about if it is outside and therefore we are able to spread out. But dd gets really twitchy - not due to covid, but feeling surrounded by people (usually loud ones).I need to look at my seeds - meant to do it last time you were talking about it.Plans for 2021, eh?
