I am getting spammed from this discussion ( it goes into my spam folder on my email so no great problem) how do I unsubscribe? From this very interesting conversation- Karmacat you have a lot of interesting things to say just not things I want to read.

Ginger, hello, you might need to fiddle around with your email account settings, and I can't help you with that, sorry, and I've never subscribed for email notifications either, can't help you with that either!  I personally bookmark threads, then come on here and look at my bookmarks.  There's an "unbookmark" button, immediately to the right of "New Thread" on this page for me right now.  That's all I can tell you, sorry!

Try going to your profile (start by clicking on your own  photo), then scroll down to 'notification preferences', then deselect email from all the things you don't want to see emails from. Not sure why you're getting them from this thread in particular, but you might have posted on it a while ago, and if the 'notify me when some contributes to a discussion I participated in' button is ticked, that will trigger emails...

Other than that, I don't know either I'm afraid - but usually the MSE search function is pretty good so you could try that

Pretty chilly here today too KC - but then we did have quite a bit of snow!

Aww, thank you debtfree!  The finance bit is really important, that will certainly be the focus during January because of the tax declaration stuff, but the rest is all about increasing my standard of living, in all sorts of ways.

I've just been active in one of those ways today: my sister got released from the covid app self isolation last night, so she drove round here and we went a walk - a two hour walk!  I'm absolutely shattered, quite frankly   It was brilliant
