Sounds perfick, SL
though I don't dare get into sleeping during the day - I used to let myself when I first got tired from the job, and it ended up making life a lot more difficult. Of course, that was because my life was out of whack, but still ... I don't want to go down that route, though I wish I could, zombification isn't particularly wonderful.
Been faffing this morning:- polite but annoyed email to Pavers: they were good about the cancelled order a couple of years ago, but they keep sending me catalogues, and thats just one more piece of potentially infected crap coming into my house during a worldwide pandemic. Not good, and I've been trying to cancel for months for environmental reasons in any case.- tried to log on to Principality to do my normal monthly money transfer to my current account - they cut off access cos I haven't given them my mobile number. It should now work, I managed to contact them on the phone.- direct debit in France has now been established. I'm going to message the new people again about the login to the management company, but I'm also going to pay the new invoice, just to keep things up to date, its a perfectly reasonable amount, and sort things out afterwards.- phoned bruv, he's in Tesco with his daughter in law, so no chat there right nowhe's a good grandad. He'll phone this afternoon.
So, the plans available are: get my new hand blender going, ditto a little tiny digital radio, do something in the garden, plant seeds, scanning stupid French documents that have no use, but need to be kept. I think I might do the financial bits that need finishing off, and then do some scanning. After a mooch around on here, of course

there's a slight amount of zombification going on today, but not too bad. I'm only online for another ten mins, then I'll go for a walk before it gets "busy". So, updates:
- Pavers email had a good result, a personal response/ apology, and they've taken me off their list, thank heavens.- paid my sister for all the cruise expenses, we managed to add everything up, finally. I *know* thats gone through.- Principality payment to Natwest: hmmm. They say it doesn't work in Firefox in any case, tried it in IE, but by the time I managed to get online, they said they'd take care of it anyway. So I'll have to check back later that its gone out.- my direct-debit-alike in France has been set up, and I've made the payment. I think I named it wrong **blushes furiously** so although I've sent it to the correct address, it might get rejected, and I might have to rename it. Again, I'll have to keep an eye on it.- two phone calls yesterday, result, from bruv and from my Kentish friend, all good with both of them.I'll pick from my existing to do list later onhope everyone is okay today.

Not bad over the weekend - I've tidied enough so that I can sort through what I have, and what I need - I only have four eggs, for instance, but then, I'm a single person, thats not bad.Got the Sainsbo app, and found that there were no delivery slots (expected that) but also that next Monday had the only click and collect slots, no other times at all. So I started to build an online basket and then realised that to qualify, I had to spend over £40 - but when you're on foot, just with a shopping trolley, thats quite difficult! And then ... I realised I don't need anything right now, certainly not for Monday! Which made me very thankful.I've been out in the garden a bit this afternoon, that was lovely - I've not done anything there since before the cruise, yikes, there's quite a bit of really long grass creeping through the borders already. Plus the dratted brambles
I have plenty of work there!

I'm really glad I stepped back. This morning, I've downloaded the shopping apps from Tesco and Morrisons - but they don't have any delivery slots, and I can't collect, they're not in my town. At the moment, I have a couple of jars out of their best before dates - I'm looking at you, pickled onions and beetroots! So they're important to use up.
I wanted to make a rough note of what I'm doing every day, otherwise it just goes ... must keep on that.

Good plan to keep a note of what you're doing KC. I find my days just drift away otherwise. Funnily enough I've been tracking my time (in 15 minute increments!!) for the last 3 weeks - didn't start because of this, more to just see what I was spending it on, but it's been interesting to see. And the more I've tracked it, the less time I've frittered on the internet - because then I have to write it down and see it in black and white! (Certainly not suggesting 15 minute tracking though, it's a bit of a pain and has mostly been useful for work purposes when I'm at my desk anyway and find my attention wandering...)
Going to try a week without it now though I think, let's see if I get nothing done at all!
Good luck with your pickled things!4
