Ooh, thank you both! We've got to think seriously about it, of course, but its such a tempting way of doing things. I'm not quite sure my sister wants to do it, but I bet she could be persuaded
I really need to get on with things - I have a meeting early tomorrow, so I actually need to get on with things **tonight**, yikes. See you guys later on tomorrow.

Thats the area I want, SL, yes, its entirely possible. I was going to do it after my last post yesterday, but I realised how tired I was, so left it. And here we are with me exhausted again, as I had to scoot off to a doctor's appointment at 8.45
Nothing immediately threatening, but I need to wait on September/October bookings as I need to have a practice-based little op, pesky skin vulnerabilities.
The only thing I *did* do yesterday afternoon was a quote from aviva - taking all my pensions together and buying an annuity would be £2741 p.a., £226 p.m. I doubt I'll get an annuity, but I wanted to check. Ug, braindead from having to be out the door at 8.15, will think what I need to do in a bit. Second brekkie is more important.

Bit of gardening, along with a few adminny tasks on the computer. Some ragwort roots are no longer connected to the soil
and the brambles in that area are cut back - the roots are still going though, I really can't give up.

:hello: Morning lovely peeps.
Genealogy meeting tomorrow has been cancelled, so I need to figure out a trip somewhere nice for Friday. Plus my sister is investigating things like house insurance and visas for the duration of the potential cruise - it's over a year away, so there's certainly time to sort it, but this sort of thing is why she's good at responsible planning, and I'm more ... fly by wirethough I've never had anything really bad happen, just stuff that makes a bit of a story
So, today's list:
- SB, nearly done.
- bit of cleaning and tidying, I'm starting to catch up, hurray.
- watering plants, then some more digging.
- finish off the NW calculations, I still haven't checked the pension funds exactly. And I haven't done all the action points I listed. That's bad, thats my future moneyI can do one or two of those this afternoon - later this morning feels more active. We'll see ...

Just adding my thoughts regarding the cruise.
If it's possible, go for it!
(how many nights is the cruise? I did 49 nights in 2017, and it went in a flash)Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Thanks Goldie! It's 54 nights
it's practically round the world
I have a suspicion it might be too much for my sister, but there are 30 day things that would do very nicely, thank you
In other news of earth-shattering importance - I've gone out to the same piece of earth as this morning, finished clearing it, watered it, nourished the soil, and Planted My New Rosemary!!! Then got some mulch down. Happy days.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
