I am new to the boards, and have skimmed a few of the pages on this thread. The kick up the bum that I need.
I was in a horrible relationship for over 11 years, now is the time for me to reclaim me, and be the woman I want to be. First, I have to stop looking like the bag lady on a bad day. But I have to do it on a budget!
Congrats on escaping hun. You'll love it in here, we're all fabulously bonkers :rotfl:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Thank you ladies for the welcome
I found some photos a of me, pre meeting the ex, I want to reclaim her! She never left the house (even to walk the dogs!) without makeup. So that is my first habit to get back into0 -
Hi Bappy. Welcome. And well done for making the great escape. That takes courage. Onwards and upwards.
I’m on a Coach on my way back to the ship have been to see Santiago de Compestella. Near La Coruna. Lovely sunny autumn day.
The ship is great. Nice comfy cabin. Good food and calm seas - had a nice rest yesterday and slept 11 hours straight just night. Feeling much better today.
2 days at sea to rest and hopefully catch some sun and then Madeira. Should start warming up nicely soon.
Loads of solos on this cruise. All ages starting from i would say mid 40s to 90 somethings. Hope I can still do it at That age.
They have dance classes on sea days. Learning to cha Cha CHa. Lol0 -

:rotfl:We might rephrase "avoid any Johns" - errrm....must remember to keep the capital J on that word:cool::rotfl:

I've heard people say it is cheaper to go on a cruise than to go into a care home. Don't know if it's true but it sounds more fun to me.0 -

I remember those days and the mornings I'd wash and style my hair without stopping to think, "will it do today." I've booked a facial, onwards and upwards :rotfl:0 -

There was a programme on about cruising, n an old American Lady was on a permanent cruise, cos it was cheaper than going into a home :DGood on her:D"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
