Morning, well done on the bargains sheils. Sounds like your having fun on your trip. I brought those pots of herbs from supermarket last year and they all grew. Divided them this year and Potted them on if they do well this year i will plant them in the garden next year. What a great day you had Alfie at the gardening workshop, it was made for you.
Glad you enjoyed your meal with family leanfun, ready food is great when needed, saves time and trouble.

    :hello: Good morning everyone

Hope you're all well - can't believe it's the last day of
    April already!

It's a wild n' windy day here, I even had to resort to
turning the central heating on last night, it was so chilly!

The good news is that over the next few days it'll warm
up nicely - just ready for the May bank holiday ......
    apparently! soleil07j.gif

Nearly forgot to mention .... received a pack of phacelia
seeds from the Soil Association on Saturday, so looking
forward to sowing them. They're sure to keep the bees
    happy! :j

Sounds as if you're having a brilliant time sheils! Well done
on T-shirt/meal bargains. :money: I think a lot of people
are unaware that flowers decorating a meal are also edible.
Violas are pretty with a mild taste - ideal for decorating
cakes etc. Other flowers & herb/veggie flowers may taste
spicy/peppery/sweet etc & can be added to so many
    dishes.

A ready meal with your family sounds lovely & also ideal
leanfun - makes a welcome change from slaving over a
    hot stove!

I loved the workshop indie - just goes to show, you're
never too old to learn. :p

 I've never thought of growing on the potted super-
market herbs! It sounds an excellent idea. :T I'll have to
pay my local store a visit & see what they've got. :D

    And before I go, it's ..........

Hope you are a bit better Rose.

Well done on seeds Alfie. Might try to do something in garden later in week if it warms up.

Despite having heating on most of the day it is still feels cold here but has just stopped raining.

I was here comping when I noticed an email from ShowFilmFirst. We now have tickets for tomorrow for a show about the First World War War called Birdsong. Just hope I stay awake. Only £2 admin.

Tomorrow I am going up to London to meet a former colleague from work. Have not seen her for years as she is from Iraq and went back there a few years ago. She is back living in Uk with her DDs and one is at Uni. Looking forward to seeing her again and catching up.

Hope everyone is warmer than here. Have a good evening.

Morning peeps. Lovely and sunny here again this morning but forecast is for rain in the afternoon. Did an online shop earlier so it will be delivered between three and five pm. DIL's mum is going to drop in with some fresh fruit and veg later. Hate buying it online. Also have a painkiller prescription being delivered. Pharmacy is only round the corner and across the road but still to painfull to make it over without help. Hope everyone is well.

Oh Alfie Gardening workshop sounds lovely..is it a national thing, sounds very me! I have made buttercream icing with flowers before, violets , chopped rose petals and marigold flower s and lavender (pulled apart) it looks beautiful on a sponge and gives it a delicate floral taste, you only need a few flowers though, otherwise it looks "overdone". Umm to ealy to think of cake..I really need some now lol. Thanks on the gardening link..timely as our RHS fruit trees are arriving today/tomorrow Yay!!

Sheils your breaks always sound so wonderful, shame some was cancelled due to the weather..at least the sun is here now..really hope it stays for you Lancaster sounds lovely well done on the mse style

Leanfun..I look forward to when I can take the showfilm first offers up..only maybe another 6 years and I can leave all the kids to do as they please safely ! Enjoy london and a good catch up with your friend x

Morning Rosemac, Firefly and Indie and all xx

Suns here, gosh we had some terrible rain. All three boys where at scout camp this weekend (a first!) so hubby and I had plans for cinema and dinner, alas Hubbys back/stomach issues kicked in and stayed that way the whole weekend, and bless him, he was sad because "He had ruined the weekend" So I played nurse , he really gets sick with it , when he was sleeping I watched back to back re-runs of all the programs I have missed, and knitted. So wasn't so bad.
Tesco coming as we didn't manage a normal pop to the shop , Have a great day all and keep safe xx Oh managed to get a Break pet sitting in Deal end of June, looking after 2 poodle mixes Called Dave and Edna :rotfl: They look so cute
